VISION

Glengarry Primary School strives to establish itself as a learning centre for all members of the school community whereby, through a partnership between staff and parents, the the cognitive, social, physical and emotional needs of students are met. We wish to be recognised as a school that provides knowledge and skills relevant to living in a constantly changing world.

Glengarry Primary School is dedicated to intellectually challenging all students, thereby engaging them in their learning. This is done in a supportive environment whereby the different learning styles of students is recognised and catering for individual differences occurs as far as possible within the resources available.

At Glengarry Primary School we believe in working collaboratively to maintain an environment where students, teachers and parents feel secure and respected. Students are encouraged to accept responsibility for their own actions therefore bringing a strong focus on self-discipline and consideration for others.

Staff at Glengarry Primary School value best practice and constantly engage in professional development and the implementation of teaching/learning strategies to ensure relevance and engagement in student learning. At Glengarry the involvement and participation of parents in student activities and learning is encouraged and valued.
