balance of explicit teaching and activity based lessons. Within the
activity based lessons there is a strong emphasis on collaborative
learning. Collaborative skills are essential for students if they are
to be successful in gaining employment in the future. Increasingly,

intelligences of the students are catered for through a variety of
learning approaches.
